KEY METHODS TO IMPROVING YOUR GOLF SWING AND SCORING BETTER
ESTABLISHING GOOD PRACTICE HABITS
In order to score better, we look at your 100 yard to 200 yard shot, we encourage that those clubs you use within those yardages should be practice the most/ 50 percent of the balls you hit at a driving range, along with a good putting session. Those shots you will see on every hole.
THE SHORT GAME
The short game is anything inside 100 yards to greenside. It is your fail safe when you miss the green. 35 percent of your practice balls should be used, practice hitting targets at 25 yards and 50 yards. Use of a short game practice should focus on bump & run, pitching, basic lob, and sand.
DRIVER/ FAIRWAY WOOD/ HYBRID
What creates distance is torque, how much torque your body creates during a golfswing will determine swing speed, ball speed and spin rate. With proper fitted driver and shaft balance out to how much torque your body generates, that's how distance is formed.
Golf Health
Keeping yourself healthy enough to play golf is challenging. Proper warm up along with streching will mininalized injury. Always recommend hitting off grass/ perfer bent grass versus matts or fake gass. Golfers who do alot of tournamemts (Professional or Amateurs) Collegiate or High School, should focus on light to medium gym/ weight workouts followed by supplements( protein powders, creatine, amino acids, multi vitamin).
